Individuals may experience fluctuation, mixed, labile, or extreme changes in unusual emotions and behavior. Individuals may feel very depressed for one or more days to extreme happiness, energy, or motivation, the next few days of weeks. Mood disorder may be related to fluctuation in hormones or hormones dysregulation such as thyroid, growth hormones, estrogen, or prolactin levels or others. Treatment for mood disorder may include psychopharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, or a combination of both.
